HRSA Requests More Time to Collect PRF Data

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is taking steps to collect information from providers who have accepted funds from the Provider Relief Fund (PRF). Currently, HRSA’s PRF reporting portal operates under a public health emergency (PHE) waiver. In anticipation of the waiver’s expiration, HRSA has submitted an Information Collection Request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in order to continue to collect data after the PHE has ended.

Providers accepting PRF payments agree to certain reporting requirements. Now, HRSA is requesting comments on: “(1) the necessity and utility of the proposed information collection for the proper performance of the agency’s functions, (2) the accuracy of the estimated burden, (3) ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected, and (4) the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology to minimize the information collection burden.” The comment period closes on November 11, 2021.
