Webinar Slides: May 2022 HCBS Settings Rule Update

Since its introduction, ANCOR has been a staunch advocate for the HCBS Settings Rule and the steps it will take to ensure people with I/DD are not relegated to isolating settings. But with the compliance deadline looming in March 2023 and a workforce crisis raging in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been no shortage of challenges to the ability of providers to comply with some of the staff-intensive requirements of the rule. For that reason, ANCOR has been partnering with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to identify ways to alleviate the burden of compliance on providers. The latest developments arising from this partnership were discussed during a members-only briefing on May 5, 2022.
