The Impact of Wage and Hour Laws on Community Providers

1:00pm-2:00pm EST

Private providers of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) face an array of compliance requirements and concerns related to federal wage and hour regulations. While the Fair Labor Standards Act did not change during the COVID-19 pandemic, operating under federal, state and local public health emergency declarations ushered in unique work circumstances that require a better understanding of how these rules may apply.

To assist providers with this responsibility, ANCOR has teamed back up with Gilliland, Maguire & Harper, PC, experts on labor law, to develop a thorough and completely updated Wage & Hour Handbook specifically for ANCOR members.

This webinar will provide participants with a better understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the major topics contained in the updated handbook, with emphasis on recent changes and trends to look out for from the U.S. Department of Labor.

A recording will be made available for registrants.
